Trusted, local help with cleaning, laundry, gardening and life's everyday tasks — and a dependable, familiar face you can rely on.
Born in Newport, I have lived overseas for much of my adult life, returning home to Wales in 2025 to be closer to family. Earlier in my career I worked as a nanny and housekeeper for a high-net-worth family in France — where I learnt to run a home to the very highest standard. I then spent 20 years building a corporate career in the Middle East, where I was fortunate to have wonderful help at home myself.
I know from experience how much a well-run, organised home supports positive mental health and reduces everyday stress. I established Househelpers Wales after seeing the gap in the market for a truly flexible, personal service — one that goes far beyond conventional cleaning. I live in Rogerstone with my young son, our dog and our cats.
This business was inspired by Chirel — the remarkable woman who kept my home running smoothly and helped me raise my son during those demanding early years. I am forever grateful to her and am determined to deliver the same high quality service and value to Househelpers Wales clients as she did for me.
Giving back: a portion of our annual profits is donated to the Alzheimer's Society and Dinky Dragons — the official charity for the NICU unit at The Grange University Hospital, Cwmbran.
